A dead body was discovered gliding in Omu river, Kelebe, along Osogbo-Iragbiji street in Osun state.

It was gathered that the body was recouped by the officials of the Nigeria Police Command, who later took it to the funeral home of Ladoke Akintola Teaching Hospital, LAUTECH in the state capital.

Despite that the reason for the man’s passing couldn’t be determined as at the hour of recording this report, the leader of the Ajoda Idi Okiti people group, Chief Bisiriyu Aderemi, told writers that he saw something skimming on the waterway not realizing it was a human body until he moved shut to it.

He stated: “This evening (yesterday), I was headed to Iragbiji when I unexpectedly observed the dormant body of a yet-to-be-distinguished man, at first I thought it was a log of wood until I drew nearer and later found it was a dead body.

“In spite of the fact that my discoveries indicated that he was not intellectually stable when he was alive. Be that as it may, it’s not possible for anyone to state what could have been the reason for his demise.”

Police from Iludun Police Division, Nurudeen Salami, said they cleared the dead body after the report they got at the station.
