Good Samaritan Loses Life Trying to Settle Quarrel in Fadeyi, Lagos Nightclub ~ NewsEdge
A well-meaning man, Kehinde Adesanwo, lost his life on a Friday night while trying to settle a quarrel at a popular nightclub in the Fadeyi area of Lagos. Trouble started when an unidentified man refused to pay his bill of N52,000. As he tried to leave without paying, a bouncer stationed at the entrance stopped him, leading to an altercation. Adesanwo, who was at the scene, intervened, but unfortunately, the customer pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach.
Eyewitnesses at the nightclub reported that the situation quickly escalated, with the customer becoming increasingly agitated and aggressive towards the bouncer. Adesanwo, who was a regular patron at the nightclub, stepped in to try and calm the situation down.
However, things took a turn for the worse when the customer pulled out a gun and shot Adesanwo in the stomach. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are currently on the hunt for the suspect. The nightclub has also released a statement expressing their condolences to Adesanwo’s family and stating that they are cooperating fully with the authorities.
This tragic incident serves as a sobering reminder of the dangers of getting involved in disputes, especially in places where alcohol is involved.
