Igbo Leader Arrested for Threatening to Mobilize Proscribed Group for Protection ~ NewsEdge

Fredrick Nwajagu, the Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate in Lagos State, has been arrested by a joint team of policemen and operatives of the Department of State Services.

His arrest came after a video of him threatening to invite members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to secure the properties of Igbo people in Lagos State went viral.

Nwajagu stated that the Igbo must get their rights and a stand in Lagos State, and that he was willing to mobilize IPOB to provide security for Igbo-owned businesses. He was tracked to a hotel in Ejigbo where he was apprehended after he fled his palace.
