The Lagos Insist Ministry of Effectively being has confirmed the identities of the three novel cases recorded on Sunday.
The ministry on its Twitter tackle, @LSMOH, said, “One amongst the three novel patients is a 51-yr-faded Briton, who arrived Nigeria on March 8 by procedure of BA75 flight, whereas the 2nd is a Nigerian on connecting flight KL0582 London Amsterdam / KL0587 Amsterdam – Lagos March 14.
“The third is a 65-yr-faded citizen of the usa of The usa who arrived in Lagos about six weeks ago.”
This brings the assortment of confirmed cases in Lagos to 21, out of which two had been discharged.
Also, the Nigeria Centre for Illness Administration on Sunday through its Twitter tackle, added, “There are surely 26 cases in Nigeria, two cases discharged and no dying from COVID-19 in Nigeria.
“One novel case of #COVID19 has been confirmed in Oyo Insist, Nigeria. As of 08: 05 a.m on the 22nd of March, there are 26 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.
“Of the 26 confirmed cases, two had been discharged with no dying,” the centre said.
