Newcastle sign former Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick on free transfer with four-year contract agreed thumbnail

Jeff Hendrick has signed for Newcastle United on a free transfer, the Premier League club have announced. The 28-year-old midfielder left Burnley after his contract at Turf Moor expired on June 30, having not extended his deal to complete the extended top-flight season.
