Neil Warnock confirmed as Middlesbrough boss for next season after securing club’s Championship status

The veteran boss led Boro to safety after being appointed for the remaining eight games of the 2019/20 season. The 71-year-old will be targeting a ninth promotion of his managerial career, with his most recent triumph coming at Cardiff in 2018. Warnock left the Bluebirds by mutual consent last November, before returning to management with Middlesbrough. The former Crystal Palace boss had been working for FREE before putting pen to paper on a new deal on Tuesday. Warnock is targeting another promotion next season.
