Bournemouth appoint Eddie Howe’s assistant Jason Tindall as new manager

Jason Tindall has been confirmed as Bournemouth’s new manager following the departure of Eddie Howe. The Cherries have looked within for a new man in charge, promoting Tindall from the role of assistant manager to give the 42-year-old his first major managerial role. I would be a fool to do that. “But I’m my own person with my own ideas and I will be looking to implement them as soon as we get back on the training ground. “I know the Championship is a very tough league but my aim is to get this club back into the Premier League at the first time of asking. Tommy Elphick says Bournemouth’s new manager should be an internal appointment “This is a challenge that I feel I’m ready for and one I’m looking forward to.” Tindall faces an uphill battle already after the loss of star defender Nathan Ake to Manchester City. There are suggestions the Dutch centre-back could be the first of many departures at the Vitality Stadium this summer, with Callum Wilson, Josh King and David Brooks all the subject of interest from Premier League clubs.,
